Design Brief
The vessel had to meet the following requirements:
· Length: No longer than 9.5m
· Large working deck with in-floor tie-down points, side and transom gates
· UAV/ROV recovery, mounting, and support points for various scientific equipment
· Removable seating and storage for dive operations
Key Features
The vessel had to meet the following requirements:
· Custom-built mounting points for hi-tech scientific equipment
· Enclosed cabin with: Multitude of electrical outputs and data cables
· Racking for easy access to scientific equipment
· Gen set installed under the helm seat
· Fwd cabin with storage and small toilet
· Welded-in threaded tie-down points in the cockpit floor
· Removable seating for dive operations
· Additional Structure designed for launch and retrieval by the ship's existing lifting infrastructure
