The interior has been refreshed with sleek new headlining and flooring, while the helm has been upgraded with modern GARMIN equipment.
Under the hood, the existing Di16 engines removed two brand-new Scania Di13 engines have been installed, and driveline reinstated with new bearings & seals, this complemented by a new exhaust system tailored to the new engines. The Kohler generator has been serviced, ensuring reliable power. The entire steering system received a major modernisation upgrade to Dometic’s Optimus EPS steering system. The rudders received new seals and bearings, and the fuel tanks were thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
“I’m pleased to recommend Circa Marine who recently completed a major overhaul of our Pilot Boat, the “Arataki”. Circa Marines workmanship was outstanding, with meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality. The team was professional, communicative, and easy to work with – ensuring the Arataki was returned to us at the Port of Tauranga in top condition. We’re very happy with the results and would gladly work with Circa Marine again.”
