Grey Wolf - The long voyage home.

Food packed, sockets sorted, but first a trip Auckland on FPB 64 No. 8
Had a busy day today. We’re starting to get things ready to set sail, or motor in this case. The food stores are now looking positively jam packed, with plenty of stuff to keep us going for the long voyage ahead. I have spent the day changing the plug sockets on board over to UK plugs, ready for GREY WOLF’s return to Guernsey. It all seems to be going well, although this job has proved far more involved than I had anticipated, but only five more left to do. I am now sat in the saloon watching the sunset, and actually feel rather content with the fact that I have made it to New Zealand, and aware of the fact that it’s the skills I have learned during my time at Berthon that have got me this far.
I also met up with Matt who is an apprentice at Circa Marine. He is also going to be on board for part of the journey home. But before that, he and I are heading down to Auckland on Friday on board FPB 64 No. 8 ATLANTIS. I feel this will be an adventure in itself.
