Headed for Mangaia - or not?? 29/03/2014 01:07 (UTC). Position: 24°35.68′S 162°14.90′W. Course 057°True. Speed 9.1Knots. Hi there Jack, no blog for the ship today, Saturday, but I note from the position update that at 0100Z you were 284 miles WSW of Mangaia and that GREY WOLF’s current track takes you right there sometime tomorrow.

Back here, we’re rather hoping for all of you that you’ve reverted to Plan A and are now headed for that real South Sea Island for some well-deserved R and R.

Looks like the weather is behaving itself with 2.5 – 3m waves on your starboard quarter and the speed of 9.1 knots indicates that you’re doing just fine.

I just checked out Mangaia on the Internet and all the images seem to be of girls swaying in grass skirts, so it looks like just the spot for you and Matt. Have a coconut for me!
